About Antor

Hey,

My name isn't actually "Antor." The only person who ever (jokingly) calls me that is my girlfriend Pamela -- my real name is Anthony. But "Antor the Explorer" sounded catchy, so here we are.

By day, I'm an electrical engineer designing LED circuit boards. Outside of the office, to keep myself from becoming a pasty mole of an engineer exposed to too much fluorescent light, I enjoy venturing out into nature and finding interesting bugs.

Pamela created this blog for me so I could share my findings out in nature with you -- maybe you can help me identify the nifty creatures I find under rocks and leaves. Or maybe you'll enjoy my YouTube videos of our animals (we have guinea pigs, a bunny, a toad, and a bird). Either way, this will be my public collection of nature's critters doing what they do best: from just being cute to its weird mating habits.

When Pamela and I travel separately, we do Instagrams of #travelingtiger and #stayathometiger documenting our activities. I point this out because a lot of my travels include nature walks and exploring the outdoors. . . .

Before this becomes a sappy tribute to our relationship (as interesting as that would be for all of you), you should know that I also dabble in amateur sculptures and building structures out of anything I find out and about, so you can expect some of that here too.

Enjoy!

Anthony

PS. Here are some photos of me and Pamela. Don't judge too harshly; she kind of insisted I do this. (She's the queen of blogging.)
Dressed as a Guido for Halloween as an undergrad.
Unfortunately, Pamela says the look becomes me.

More low-key. She begged me to bring our bun Philip to game night.
